1993

Our first overhauled and imatriculated gliders were seen at the 21st IVGR (International Vintage Glider Rally) at Zbraslavice. Except several foreign old timers there were introduced our gliders : “Lunak”, “Sohaj 3”, “Orlík 16”, M–25 “Standard”, “Pionyr” and VSB–62 “Vega”.

 

1994

Five old timers have been flying during the 1st National Vintage Glider Meeting at Benesov :  VSM–40 “Demant” OK–9902, LG–125 “Sohaj” OK–0937, LG–425 “Sohaj 3” OK–5988, LF–107 “Lunak” OK–0975, VT–116Orlík II” OK–6922. We have flown as many as 85 hours. Numerous group of modellers took part at this meeting with RC maquettes of vintage gliders.

 

1995

The renovations and overhauls of old wooden gliders expanded to our aeroclubs successfuly. Again five „oldies“ have been flying during the 2nd National Vintage Glider Meeting at Hronov : LG–125 ”Sohaj” OK–1968, M–25 “Standard” OK–2916, LF 109 “Pionýr” OK–3903, VSM–40 “Demant” OK–9902 and home VT–116Orlík II” OK–6922. Together we have flown as many as 55 hours and some amounts of kilometres by cross country fligts.

 

1996

International VGC Randezvous 96 in hand with the 3rd National Vintage Glider Meeting was performed at airfield Rana near Louny. Total 14 historical gliders flew over the memorable hill Rana. Two Kranichs II, magnificently overhauled Gö–4 from Germany and the replic of Zlín Z–23 “Honza” assembled by Jozef Ott from Nitra (Slovakia) were within the most admired ones. The members of POTK have flown as many as 35 hours by 68 aerotow takes off. One afternoon was expected for performance of bungee takes off. The VHS video record was made about this meeting. 1997

The 4th National Vintage Glider Meeting was organized at Sumperk. First time POTK´s club flag was hoisted there. Nine historical gliders participated at this meeting. The great rarity was two-seater LG-130 “Kmotr”. Although there weren´t good meteorological conditions we have flown as many as more than sixty hours and seventy takes off.

 

1998

Nitra (Slovakia) entertained 26th International Vintage glider Rally simultanously with 5th Czech & Slovak Old Timer Glider Meeting. POTK took great part about organisation. We found enough time for gliding at very hot summer weather. There we could see 138 pilots with 39 vintage gliders from 13 countries.

 

1999

Weather didn´t wish any good  for  our 6th  National Old Timer Glider Rally at airfield Mikulovice of Jesenik aeroclub. Becouse there were problems with very wet grass runway, the particians changet the place to Hronov airfield after some days. On this meeting we introduced our fresh rebuilted replic of primary glider SG-38 from Rana. Also we began to use UL aircraft TL-232 Condor for aerotows of our vintage gliders there. Including the SG-38 we have been flying three Orlik 16, one Orlik II 116, Lunak, Sohaj 3, Demant and Pionyr tandem seater.

 

2000

7th National Old Timer Glider Rally was performed at Tabor airfield at beautiful landscape of Southern Bohemia. 14 „oldies“ were flown: Zlin 24 Krajanek and LG-130 Kmotr from Medlanky, SG-38 from Rana, LF-107 Lunak and LG-125 Sohaj from Benesov, other Lunak and VSM-40 Demant from Zbraslavice, second Demant from Sumperk, VT-16 Orlik & VT-116 Orlik II from Hronov, doubleseater LF-109 Pionyr from Broumov, VT-425 Sohaj 3 from Pribram and VT-16 Orlik from Praha Letnany. New German friends from Pirna came with SZD Foka 4c. More than 100 hours was flown in despite of adverse weather.

 

2001

29. International Vintage Glider Rally was arranged by Aeroklub Zbraslavice. Well shepherd meeting was matched with 8th National Vintage Glider Meeting. At Zbraslavice rally participed 74 oldtimer gliders (4 from Czech Republic) of twelve European countries. A new members of Austria and Poland joined POTK there.
